Properties and application
Conductive paste is widely used in the contact surface of the bus-bars, bus-bars and equipment terminals, and disconnecting switch contacts which located in power substations. The conductive paste can be used to connect between two same or different metal conductors (such as copper and copper, copper and aluminum, aluminum and aluminum). The uses of conductive paste can greatly reduce the contact resistance (reduced by 35-95%) so as to reduce the temperature (reduced by 35-85%), for this reason, the conductive paste is an excellent replacement for tinning and silvering technology. The conductive paste not only improve the conductive performance and reduce the power consumption, but also avoid the contact surface corrosion, especially improve safety performance greatly, which provides a reliable guarantee for the safe operation of power substations.
The conductive paste is also can be used for connectors and switch contacts of domestic appliances (such as TV). It can reduce the voltage drop or electric arc, and avoid bare wire oxidation corrosion, so as to improve domestic appliances’ reliability.
The conductive paste produced by Chang Long Co., Ltd has characteristics not only excellent electrical conductivity, resistance to elevated temperatures and moisture, anti-oxidation, anti-fungal and anti-chemical corrosion, but also no leakage, no hardening, non-flammable, non-toxicity, no irritating, long use-life. The conductive paste has excellent effect even in harsh environment full of moist heat and chemical corrosive gases (such as power substations located in chemical and steel plants).

1.To polish conductor surface with fine file or fine emery cloth lightly for removing the metal burr and oxide film.
2.To wipe conductor surface’s greasy dirt with alcohol or acetone.
3.To coat conductor surface a layer of conductive paste.
4.To wipe conductor surface with fine emery cloth and to wipe the contact surface up with clean cotton.
5.To coat conductor surface of 0.2mm thick conductive paste.
6.The bus-bars’ connecting should be tightened with bolts.
The DG-1 type conductive paste can be used below 170℃, and the DG-2 type conductive paste can be used below 200℃.
Storage and service life
Keep the conductive paste closed and store in -40℃ to +45℃. The conductive paste is non-toxic, tasteless, no irritation to skin, no environment pollution, and is non-flammable and explosive material. It should be capped tightly after using.
The conductive paste’s use-life is 5 years.
